Biography
Kathleen Tompkins brings a wealth of experience in strategic communications and crisis management. Within those disciplines she focuses on reputation risk and corporate social responsibility and their impact on the corporate bottom line.

Kathleen also possesses in-depth experience in financial services, executive search leadership and diversity consulting. She has an extensive background in the executive search business, and specializes in asset management team lift-outs, which has helped her many clients achieve their growth objectives. Those clients have included major investment banks, asset managers, private equity firms and rating agencies.

She has worked at the Dilenschneider Group and spent eight years at Sheffield Haworth, a U.K.-based financial services search firm. Kathleen was a founding member of its New York office and established the firm’s U.S. asset management business. Her experience during this time encompassed all areas of financial services. She has also spent five years at Warren International, another premier “lift-out” recruitment and placement firm and earlier worked as a generalist in the financial services practice of Spencer Stuart.

She holds a B.A. from Queens College and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
